The Beaman Home Turns 40!

On July 1, 1985, the Altrusa International Club of Warsaw opened the doors to The Beaman Home; a safe place for survivors of domestic violence. That very first day, a victim was already waiting on the front porch.

What started as a 13-bed shelter has grown into a 36-bed facility with wraparound
services, including:
✔️ 24/7 shelter & crisis support
✔️ Mental health counseling
✔️ Rapid rehousing
✔️ Prevention education
✔️ Advocacy and case management
✔️ Free clothing & essentials through Mary Ann’s Place

Over the past 40 years, we've helped thousands of individuals and families rebuild their lives. thanks to people like YOU.

To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re launching our "40 for 40" Campaign:
